A 18 year old Scottish passenger on packed a British Airways flight to Gatwick from Florifda was arrested yesterday after an air rage incident in which he bit one of the cabin crew, the Mirror reports.
The newspaper says that the man started screaming and threatening people on the flight to Gatwick from Orlando, which arrived at Gatwick at 06:30. Witness Moira Cunningham told the Mirror: ‘About 45 minutes before we landed this young man went crazy - screaming, shouting and swearing. The crew couldn't contain him so a few passengers helped. He was going berserk and bit one of the cabin crew. It was terrifying.’
A BA spokeswoman said: 'Police met the Orlando to Gatwick service due to a disruptive passenger.' A police spokesman said: 'Officers boarded the plane after it landed. An 18-year old man was arrested for endangering the safety of an aircraft and police are investigating the incident.'
