Display advertising company EYE have launched the UK's largest portrait-oriented digital screen at Manchester Airport Terminal 1. The 103-inch Portrait Landmark Digital Eyelite has a display area of 4.5 x 7.9 feet and is located at the entrance to the terminal's departures duty free store.
Karen Delaney, communications manager of Drivesafe, EYE's inaugural advertiser for the screen, said: ‘This large format digital screen at Manchester Airport offers an ideal communication channel to deliver awareness of the dangers of drinking pre or in-flight and then driving for your onward-journey. The digital platform provides excellent cut-through by using Flash animation to bring the campaign to life.’
A spokesman for Eye added: ‘With the sharpest possible picture quality running 7 second flash content, this new site is suited to retail clients wanting to influence passengers at that important moment when they are excited, relaxed and looking to spend.'
